EVERY AMERICAN IS GOING TO DIE! Did you know that every single person born in America is going to die? In fact, as I have studied further, I have been shocked. Mortality rates in Europe and Asia are exactly the same. They have been holding steady at one hundred percent for centuries. Every person in those continents has either already died or is quickly approaching death. Doctors are scrambling as hard and fast as they can to stop this epidemic. Literally trillions of dollars are being poured into research and new technology. New drugs are being developed at an astonishing rate. Hospitals are absolutely packed with people looking for help. But, with all of our breakthroughs, not a single life has been saved - not one - and every doctor interviewed has admitted, it is hopeless. There have been some cases where medical science has extended life for a very short period of time, but in every situation the end result has been the same. The patient has died. It gets worse. This epidemic of death isn't confined to just a few continents. Studies show that it is everywhere. From Canada to Brazil and from New Zealand to Iceland people are dying. Mortality rates among males worldwide are exactly the same as females – one hundred percent. Every African American is going to die. For every Asian, Hispanic, and Caucasian it is inevitable. Death is coming – and quickly. There are no exceptions. Every single human being on this planet is going to die and there is nothing, absolutely nothing they can do about it. It is a certainty. We're all going to die. As I have studied this subject – the absolute and undeniable fact that every human being on the planet is quickly dying – I have been shocked. I have flipped on the television expecting to see mass chaos – riots in the streets, people scrambling over one another, cars crammed together on interstate highways too congested to even move. I expected to see interviews of weeping people who have lost loved ones and are pleading for help. "I lost my son this morning, my sister died three years ago, and I found out that I am going to die too. Is there anyone who can help me?" But there has been none of that. In fact, what I have seen is that people seem relatively unconcerned and life goes on. It seems unthinkable. How could the world be so unconcerned? Not only are people unconcerned with their own approaching death, they seem relatively unconcerned about the certainty of death that awaits every person whom they love. Their husbands, fathers, coworkers, and friends are all dying, and with very few exceptions, most people are going on with their lives as if all is well. How about you? Are you ready to die? If you are, aren't you concerned about those around you who aren't ready? Will you help them? Related Bible Verses: If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection (Romans 6:5) If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) You must be born again (John 3:7) When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:54-55) He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 25:8) |
The truth is, we are all going to die and there are no exceptions. Read this carefully. YOU are going to die. Are you ready? I mean, if today was your last day, can you be sure that all would be well? Here's the really scary part. If you want to go to Heaven, you have to be PERFECT. And I do mean perfect. Absolutely morally pure and righteous. That might seem unrealistic but think about it. If Heaven is perfect, a place where no one ever does anything wrong, what would it be like if you were there? Would it continue to be a perfect place or would you corrupt it. The truth is, none of us belong in Heaven because none of us are perfect. I'll be the first to admit, if I went to Heaven I would ruin the place. Not because I would want to but just because I know my own nature and it is seriously messed up. I freely admit that I don't belong in a perfect place, even if I really wanted to go there. So the question is, how can anyone go to Heaven? We are all going to die, we don't want to go to Hell (the resting place for everything that maintains its corruption) so, is there anything we can do. The short answer is "no", there is nothing we can do. Unfortunately, even our desire to go to Heaven is rooted in our selfish nature. We want it for ourselves. Since selfishness is sin and Heaven is a place without sin, even our aspirations toward Heaven are messed up. Man, we are in trouble. But here is the Good News. God made a way for us through Jesus Christ. Jesus is in the business of cleaning people up and perfecting them from the inside out. He can make your spirit - the part that needs to go to Heaven - PERFECT because he can fill your spirit with His own Spirit and His Spirit is perfect. When Jesus came to Earth He lived a perfect life. Perfect. He did exactly what the Father wanted Him to do from start to finish. He was the only candidate for Heaven that has ever walked the Earth as a man. He was perfection in human form. When He died on the Cross He paid the punishment that was due us, taking the suffering and pain that we deserved on Himself, satisfying the just requirements of God's law. When He rose again He conquered Hell, death, and the grave and once and for all established His authority over all Kingdoms. He also set the example for us, showing that we can die to ourselves and be raised up by Him to live a new life. He called this being "born again." So the question is, have you been born
again? Has Jesus come into your life in such a way as to
transform you from the inside out? If you haven't I suggest you do so today. It is a lifelong walk with Jesus that has to start somewhere and there is no better time than right now. I urge you, pray to Him, surrender your life to Him, and then commit to walking with Him for the rest of your life. You can pray something like the following (although I suggest you phrase it in your own words): Jesus, I know I am not perfect. I know I don't deserve Heaven. I confess my sin to you. I confess that I have been selfish, done my own thing, and gone my own way. (You can confess specifics in your life if you want to.) I want all of that to change. I need you to clean me up from the inside out and to purify me with your Spirit. I accept and receive you today and declare that you are now the Master and Lord of my life. If you'll show me what to do, and help me (I trust you will) I will live for you for the rest of my life. From here, I suggest that you find a good, Bible-believing church in your area. Tell the Pastor about your decision and ask to be water baptized. Read the Bible everyday and apply it to your life. Pray daily and continue to communicate with Jesus. And, tell others about what you have done. Turn away from everything that holds you back and follow Jesus passionately. If you made this decision, I would like to send you some free resources that will help you in your walk with Jesus. Please let me know HERE. |
